Touch Screen Warranty & Service Policy

To Obtain Warranty Service

Should your ATS product require service during the limited warranty period:

  • Contact ATS on (03) 9547 7531 only if the product has the ATS” identification label on the rear of the panel. Have the part number(s) and serial number(s) available for the representative. Please be prepared to describe the problem/failure you are experiencing with your product(s)
  • The Technical Support representative will determine the need to return your product(s) for service and, if it is necessary, an RA number will be faxed or emailed to you.
  • Package the unit(s) in the original carton to ensure safe transport.
  • Address the return to Australian Touch Systems Pty Ltd, 19 / 820 Princes Hwy ,Springvale Vic 3171
  • Attn: RA #________. Be sure the RA number is prominently displayed on the shipping container and any accompanying packing lists. Packages without RA numbers will not be accepted into our store.
  • Ship the product PREPAID, COD shipments will not be accepted by Australian Touch Systems. You are responsible for inbound freight charges to Australian Touch Systems; Australian Touch Systems will pay the standard ground delivery charges for return following repair/replacement of your product.

Australian Touch Systems is not Responsible for Damages incurred as a result of mishandling during shipment or improper packaging

Disclaimer of Warranty

Upon receipt and inspection, should Australian Touch Systems determine that your product(s) is not covered by the stated warranty, you will be notified immediately. Upon notification, should you wish to have your product(s) repaired, you will be required to issue a valid purchase order to cover the cost of repair and return freight. After receiving the PO Australian Touch Systems will provide a firm estimate for the repair for approval prior to completing the actual work. This service will be provided either at current Flat Rate charges or Time and Material charges as is applicable to the product returned.

 

No Fault Found

Should Australian Touch Systems determine that the product returned has no detectable defect or we are unable to duplicate the fault, you will be notified and a Bench Fee equal to 1 hour of labor may be charged.

 

To Obtain Out Of Warranty Service

Follow the general procedure described above indicating that your product is not covered by the limited warranty. Provide the representative with a valid PO or credit card number for billing purposes. All Out of Warranty service is provided at the then current Flat Rate or Time and Material charges as is applicable to the product(s) being returned, or service requested.

 

The Minimum Service Labour Charges is 1 Hour

The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges for Out of Warranty service.

 

All Repairs are warranted for 90 Days from date of service or to the end of the original limited warranty, whichever is greater.

Australian Touch Systems makes no warranties other than those expressly stated above, verbal or implied, with the regard to the products or services provided, including but not limited to claims of merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose. Australian Touch Systems shall not be liable for claims of other damages including claims of lost business profits, loss of use, inconvenience or any other damages incidental, consequential or otherwise.

 

Warranty Exclusions

The Australia Touch Systems Pty. Ltd. limited warranty excludes failure resulting from:

Improper use or installation

Repair, alteration or modification of the product by anyone other than ATS

Accident, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature

Causes external to the product(s)

Breakage or physical scratches of the Sensor

Other factors beyond the control of ATS Pty. Ltd.
